About PropGuide

Your independent resource to find the futures prop firm that actually fits your trading style and your wallet.

Why PropGuide exists

Prop firms are confusing by design. Every firm claims low fees and trader-friendly rules. In reality, the details that matter are buried in the help center, fine print, or Discord comments.

PropGuide exists to cut through that noise.

We collect, structure, and compare prop firm rules so you can make a clear decision based on how you trade, not on marketing promises. No hype, no funnels, no nonsense. Just the facts that matter when real money and real discipline are on the line.

If you are trading futures seriously, you deserve transparency.

What makes PropGuide different

Independent by default

No sponsored rankings. No pay-to-play placements. Firms cannot buy their way to the top.

Built for real traders

The platform is designed around actual decision points: drawdown type, consistency rules, payout logic, scaling paths, and cost over time.

Curated and maintained data

Rules change often. We track updates, normalize terminology, and flag gotchas so you do not have to re-read contracts every month.

From a trader, for traders

This is not built by marketers. It is built by someone who trades, passes challenges, and has lost time and money to bad prop firm choices before.

PropGuide may use affiliate links in the future in order to cover the costs of running the site, but rankings are never sponsored.

About Seb

Seb

PropGuide is created by Seb.

Seb is a startup builder and operator with a background as a product leader and CFO in venture-backed companies. He has built and scaled products in fintech, B2B SaaS, and consumer apps.

Alongside that, he is an active futures trader, trading primarily index futures such as ES and NQ. He has traded his own capital and prop firm capital, passed challenges, failed others, and learned first-hand how confusing it can be to find the right prop account.
